"2040: Vision for Earth Regeneration" Japanese Premiere Celebrates with Exclusive Seaweed Stickers from Sea Vegetable

Rapidly Deteriorating Earth: What Will Our Planet Be Like in 2040?

Damon Gameau, an Australian filmmaker with a 4-year-old daughter, asks himself, "What kind of future will my daughter experience when she grows up in 2040? I want her to live in a world like this." Motivated by this question, Gameau created the realistic, future-oriented documentary "2040: Vision for Earth Regeneration," a thought-provoking film that explores solutions for the planet’s regeneration based on factual evidence. This highly anticipated film has now arrived in Japan and will be shown in theaters nationwide.

As the film takes viewers on a journey across 11 countries, it highlights a range of potential solutions for Earth’s regeneration, including the crucial role of “seaweed” as a resource to improve the marine environment and more.

To celebrate the film’s Japanese release, the first 100 attendees at Shibuya’s Theater Image Forum were gifted exclusive Sea Vegetable "Original Seaweed Stickers."

As we look toward the future, how can we protect the Earth we live on and pass it on to the next generation? We invite you to reflect on these pressing questions together at the theater.
