Guide to Using Mail-in Service Delivery

[Notice Regarding the Switch in Delivery Service]

From mid-March 2026, we will start switching our mail-in delivery service from Japan Post’s “Yu-Packet” to Yamato Transport’s “Nekopos.”

For orders placed during the transition period, shipments will be sent via either “Yu-Packet” or “Nekopos,” depending on the timing. Please note that we cannot accommodate requests for specific carriers.

Please be advised that there will be no change to the shipping fee (350 yen nationwide) associated with this change.

In response to such customer feedback, Sea Vegetable offers Japan Post’s “Yu-Packet” service, which allows us to deliver small orders affordably.

What is Yu-Packet?

Yu-Packet is Japan Post’s small-package delivery service that delivers directly to your mailbox.

We deliver nationwide for a flat rate of 350 yen (tax included).

◉ Available to track the parcel with a tracking number

◉ Flat rate nationwide

*Scheduled delivery dates and times are not available.

*This service is unavailable during the summer period (June 10 to around the end of September) to ensure product quality.

The following five items are available to use Yu-Packet.

Packaging Guidelines (Combination Examples)

Depending on the quantity or combination of items, your order may exceed the Yu-Packet size limit and will be shipped via “Yu-Pack.” Please use the information below as a guide when placing your order.

How to Select the Shipping Method

For orders eligible for Yu-Packet shipping, other shipping methods besides “Yu-Packet” will also be displayed on the payment screen. Please select your preferred shipping method and proceed with the purchase.

・“I want to specify a delivery date and time” → Select Standard Shipping

・“I want to keep shipping costs low” or “I want to receive the package even if I'm not home” → Select Japan Post Yu-Packet

Important Notes

If you order items that are not eligible for Yu-Packet delivery, you cannot select Yu-Packet.
Please retrieve your package as soon as possible after it is delivered to your mailbox.
Yu-Packet is unavailable for international delivery.
You cannot change the shipping method after placing your order.
