Seaweed is thick! Mirin Mapo Tofu


Seaweed for Chinese food? And for thickening!

The very versatile "mirin" is a popular person on the table where you can enjoy the texture.


Material (for 2 people):

  • Shiozura/Dry Mirin (before salt removal/before watering) 100g/15g
  • Silk tofu250g
  • gingerApproximately 2g (1 teaspoon)
  • garlicApproximately 1g (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Long onions (thick)10G
  • Pork60g
  • Salad oil1 tablespoon and 1/2
  • Shaoxing liquor (alternative to sake) 2 teaspoon
  • Chicken soup (dissolve the amount as displayed in hot water)180ml
  • sugar1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper/pepper (OK without it)as you like

How to:

  1. Rinse while changing water twice in a bowl, add new water for 8-10 minutesSalted drainagedo.
