Milin Salmon Ahijo

A perfect dish for home drinking using Mirin, salmon, oil and garlic!

Ingredients (2 servings):
- Mirin (before rehydrating): 6g
- Salmon (for sashimi): 6-8 slices *Any preferred fish is OK
- Capers: to taste
- Coarse salt, black pepper: a pinch *Use the salt attached to "salt-cured mirin"
- Olive oil: 4 tbsp
How to:
- Soak Mirin in plenty of water for about 8 minutes to rehydrate.
- Cut the mirin into bite-sized pieces if they are long.

- Spread the mirin in a slightly deep, large plate, then pour olive oil over it..

- Arrange the thinly sliced salmon on top, sprinkle with drained capers as desired. Finish with a light sprinkle of salt and black pepper.


Tip:
You can easily prepare this dish by simply placing sashimi on the "Mirin oil pickles". It's a quick dish that can be completed in about 5 minutes if you have the ingredients on hand. A perfect for impromptu party dish!
