Gentle Soup-like Tea with Young Hijiki and Sakura

Ingredients:

  • Young hijiki with sakura: 10g
  • Hot water: 600ml

Instructions:

  1. Lightly rinse the young hijiki to remove excess salt, then place it directly into a teapot.

  2. Pour boiling water over the hijiki and let it steep for 3 minutes.

For a stronger flavor, let it steep for over 10 minutes to extract more umami from the hijiki, resulting in a richer sakura hijiki tea.
