[Hijiki x Purple Cabbage] Enjoy the Crunch: A Simple, Nutritious Purple Salad with Just Three Ingredients!

Ingredients (for 2 people):

・ Purple cabbage: 50g
・ Salted Hijiki: 30g
Or dried hijiki: 5g
・ Oba (Shiso leaf): 1~2 sheets

How to:

  1. For salted Hijiki: Rinse in a bowl, changing the water twice, then soak in fresh water for 3 minutes to remove the salt.
  2. For dried Hijiki: Soak in a bowl of water for 6 minutes.
  3. Drain the Hijiki in a colander, pat dry with paper towels, and cut into 3 cm pieces.
  4. Thinly slice the purple cabbage and finely chop the shiso leaves.
  5. Gently mix everything together and plate.
  6. If needed, add your favorite dressing to taste.
