Mozuku Mushroom Hotpot

For a healthy yet satisfying dish, replace rice or noodles with mozuku as a final touch. Enjoy the delightful combination of ingredients enveloped in mozuku's unique texture.

Ingredients:

  • Mozuku: 50g
  • Your favorite hot pot broth
  • Water: 200ml
  • Chicken thigh: 250g

■A Ingredients:

  • Bunashimeji mushrooms: 1 pack
  • King oyster mushrooms: 1 pack
  • Maitake mushrooms: 1 pack
  • Enoki mushrooms: 1 pack
  • Tofu: 1 block
  • Leek: 1 stalk (cut into chunks)

     

    How to:

    1. Pour water and your chosen hot pot broth into a deep pot and bring it to a boil.
    2. Add the chicken thigh pieces and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to cook through.
    3. Add the bite-sized pieces of ingredients A to the pot. After cook until all the ingredients are thoroughly heated. Then, add the sticky mozuku to the pot.
    4. *Be careful not to overheat the mozuku. Add before serving to prevent it from dissolving too much.

     

    Tip:

    Mozuku should be added last and cooked briefly to retain its texture and prevent it from dissolving excessively.
